OrdinaryKids is a collective. Designers, photographers, writers, and technologists, working together since 2001.

We have made work for museums and skate brands, for runners and record labels. It has stood on the floor of the Museum of Modern Art and on the bottom of a skateboard. We have never much cared about the difference.

When MoMA asked for a proposal about fear, we did not write one. We kept journals of the things we were actually afraid of, bound them into a single hardcover book, and mailed that instead. We got the job. That is still the method: find what a thing is actually about, and build only that.

Most technology is built to hold your attention. We build things that hand it back.
